About Us

We bought Gilston Galloways in October 2023 after selling a lowline stud in Airlie beach, we decided to recreate another stud on the Gold Coast with much fluffier breed!

We found 100 acres with nothing but a dilapidated 3 bedroom brick house and a broken down horse stable.

​

Greg’s dad Ron, on his ride on mower, mowed the 100 acres three times over! We then started to dream and discovered how beautiful this property could be.

​

We got to work Installing water, electricity, fencing, sheds and the most exciting part, purchasing our foundation cattle from wonderful breeders such as Romani Farm, Torcroft and Lallybroch.

We tickled the house, planted fruit trees and even bought a tractor!

We finally look like a little farm!

Greg coming from the caravan industry and Kyleen being a retired hairdresser, we can certainly can say we have learnt a lot and are still quite green!! At times we feel like we are in our own Clarkson’s farm episodes!!!

Learning from other like minded cattle breeders and a simple love for this gorgeous breed is our motivation to breed and share the fluff!
